Just read this crazy release about VH-1 shows for the fall. It is so upsetting in soo many ways. Angie Stone--really?!

Let's just say I can't believe Angie Stone would do a show like this. She must have an album about to drop next year because otherwise I find this stunt to be completely below her. However, I am excited to see a chubby Erika Eleniak from Baywatch. She was from the very first season and I also think she is from Wisconsin. For some reason I remember someone telling me that.

Things to do in NYC at the UCB Theatre on Thursday while I'm working at the video store. I have tickets reserved for you, so you can decide to go or not go...it's all up to you.

We Used To Go Out -- 8 PM $5

You know that time in a relationship where you should break up but instead stay together and make your lives a living hell? UCB favorites Jason Mantzoukas and Jessica St. Clair have written a show about it. An unflinchingly funny look at relationships by the duo that Variety called “…the next Nichols and May.”

SHOWGIRLS: The Best Movie Ever Made. Ever. -- 9:30 PM $5

The UCB Theatre is proud to present an evening with Mr. Joe Eszterhas (or an actor playing the esteemed scribe) as he is interviewed by noted film historian, Jackie Flynn Clarke. Experience the power and sanctity of Esztheras' words live onstage. It’s half staged reading, half “Inside the Actor’s Studio,” and half female empowerment, Eszterhas style.

If these don't interest you maybe we could go to Asssscat 3000 on Sunday. Decide soon because I have to get tickets.

I am game for either of the UCB shows on Thursday--and Sunday too. Cheap entertainment is always a good thing--especially comedy--who doesn't love some comedy.
