Two of my favs back in the news (Rolling Stone)

CROWDED HOUSE MEMBERS REUNITE ON SOLO ALBUM
NEIL FINN and NICK SEYMOUR of CROWDED HOUSE have reunited to work on Finn's first solo album since 2001's "One Nil." The duo says they were partially brought back together by the suicide of Crowded House drummer PAUL HESTER in 2005. "You do seek each other out," Finn told Reuters. "There's some kind of strong bond still, as you would expect, I suppose. It's a pretty emotional record, I think."

GEORGE MICHAEL GIVES BACK TO THE NURSES OF THE WORLD
Proud pothead GEORGE MICHAEL has announced a one-off London show on December 20th solely for nurses who are registered with the U.K.'s National Health Service. The gig was conceived as a thank you to the nurses that cared for Michael's mother when she was on her deathbed. "The nurses that helped my family at that time were incredible people, and I realized just how undervalued these amazing people are," Michael wrote on his Web site. Nurses can apply for free tickets at Michael's site.
