Ready for something a little different?

Go see Strangers With Candy--it is bizarre, messed up and hilarious. Seriously, at points you will questions what you're doing there, but you'll thank me when it's over. Just make sure you stay for the credits and actually listen to the closing credits tune.

Haven't picked my flicks for this weekend yet, but I'm leaning toward a documentary double feature--Wordplay and Heart of the Game.

Here is my two cents...

I believe if you were a fan of the show when it was on Comedy Central, which I was, you'll think the movie isn't anything special. But for those who've never watched an episode you'll think it's the funniest thing. Granted, I think it was genius casting Justin Theroux as the driver's ed teacher, but who wouldn't. So if you really think it's great buy the series and then you're in for some real madness. Some real sick twisted stuff...

Dog Bites Man anyone?

This could be true. I never made it past two minutes of the TV show and loved the movie--and Matt thought the movie was okay.

Similarly, I never had or have gotten into South Park, but I loved that movie too.

Brain Candy I seem to remember tolerating, which is more than I can say for Kids in the Hall==but I'd have to see it again to know for sure.
